La Vonna A. Jones is committed to serving clients coping with the myriad transitions presented in family law. Whether the issues relate to residential time, third-party custody, child support, finances, or relocation, Ms. Jones works with her clients to reach an optimal outcome. Ms. Jones comes to the Seattle Law Group from The Prince Law Firm, P.S., a firm serving family law clients in Seattle and nationwide for over 20 years. Her commitment to serving families coping with transitions predates her legal career. Prior to coming to law, Ms. Jones worked for the State of Illinois as a Child Welfare Specialist and as a Correctional Counselor. Ms. Jones is a member of the following organizations: Washington State Bar Association (Family Law Section), King County Bar Association (Family Law Section and Judicial Screening Committee), Loren Miller Bar Association (2004: Chair, Brown v. Board of Education, Community Outreach and School Committee; 2005: Chair, Philip L. Burton Annual Scholarship Dinner Committee), and American Bar Association. Ms. Jones has been a guest speaker for Youth for Life, giving a presentation on family law issues to high school students. Ms. Jones received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
